Start with the finished tape or lace

The fabric tells us more than a model number. Four details decide the first machine recommendation.

  • ElasticityElastic or non-elastic structure and the required recovery.
  • Finished widthBand width and the number of bands required across the working area.
  • Surface and patternPlain tape, lace movement, openwork or decorative trim.
  • Yarn feedingWarp, weft and rubber yarns that must feed steadily into the fabric.

Industrial use: these machines make continuous narrow bands, not blankets, hats, toys or shaped hand-crochet pieces.

Common questions about automatic crochet machines

Is this an industrial machine or a home crochet tool?
It is an industrial machine for continuous elastic tape, lace bands and narrow trims. It is not used for blankets, hats, toys, amigurumi or other shaped hand-crochet projects.
How many bands can run across the working width?
The answer depends on finished band width, spacing, yarn feeding and the take-up arrangement. A 762 mm working area does not mean every millimetre can be used without spacing, so the production layout must be reviewed from the fabric.
When is a rubber feeder needed?
A rubber feeder is used when elastic yarn must enter the fabric at a stable, controlled rate. The B3 and B8 models shown here use two rubber feeder systems.
Can Credit Ocean run my yarn before packing?
A workshop run is carried out for the confirmed machine. If you need your own yarn or fabric sample used during the run, agree this before the order so the material and test conditions are clear.
Which spare parts should be ordered with the machine?
Common items include hooks, needles, guide bars and model-specific wear parts. The recommended parts list depends on the machine version, gauge and fabric structure.
What affects automatic crochet machine price?
Price changes with working width, weft-bar count, gauge, yarn-feeding devices, take-up, electrical requirements and the spare-parts package. The final quotation follows the fabric review.
